cries from the heart…

Father, is it just I who’s hurting?

Does no one hear my moan?

Do my tears have no companions, Lord?

God, do I cry alone?

My heart is feeling heavy, Lord

My mind engulfed in grief,

A cloud of gloom lurks overhead.

Oh, God why must I weep?

Take away this sorrow, God

Help me break these chains.

Demonstrate your love, my Lord,

Release me from this pain.

That’s what my dear Jesus said,

He told me from the start.

So I gave Him my most of all..

I gave to Him my heart.
