Have you ever seen this movie?  It is a wonderful family movie that has NO profanity, NO sex scenes, NO foul language (so you’re saying, ‘and it’s good?’)  YES!  It IS!!

It is the story of a stranger named, Joshua, that visits a little town that was normal by all means, but didn’t have a sense of community.  Joshua starts helping some of the folks in the town and in the process unites the entire town with the exception of one priest, Father Tordone.  Father Tordone is bitter because he lost a position at the Vatican and feels that Joshua is a false prophet.  You get the sense of what it would be like if Jesus showed up in your town today.

One of my favorite parts of the movie is where Father Tordone seeks out an official condemnation from the Vatican and Joshua goes to Rome to have a meeting with the Pope.  Joshua is telling one of the Bishops (?) that he is not there to hurt anyone and Father Tordone steps out from the shadows and openly condemns him.  Joshua kindly looks at him and asks him why he is so afraid.  Fr. Tordone replies that he is not afraid.  All this time, Joshua is walking slowly towards him and places his hand on Father Tordone’s heart.  The moan/sigh that comes from the priests heart when he realizes just WHO Joshua is, ALWAYS makes me CRY!  Can you imagine if TODAY, Jesus came forward and touched your heart and instantly you saw Him for who He really is??  You saw His beauty, and His grace and His mercy.  …….. what a day of rejoicing that would be!!

You REALLY need to see this movie if you haven’t seen it before.  It is a WONDERFUL family movie and I highly recommend it!  You can ALSO experience His touch by coming with us to Israel in March, 2011!  Walk where He walked and pray where He prayed!  Visit for more details.
