waters of Israel…

Have you ever thought about the Dead Sea?  If so, how did you picture it?  Dead?  Well, it’s more than that, for sure.  The Dead Sea is the lowest place on earth!  If you join us on our trip to Israel in March of 2011, you will get to experience first hand a sea that is 1300 feet below sea level!!  (how low can you go…..sorry, thinking about the limbo)….

Yeah, that is a chunk of salt from the shore of the Dead Sea.  Just one little handful! Imagine yourself floating on the Dead Sea!! How many of your friends can say that??

“Look, ma!  No hands!”

Now, imagine yourself going from a Sea that has no life, no outflow, high evaporation levels to….the Jordan River. You will have the opportunity to be baptized in the SAME RIVER THAT JESUS WAS BAPTIZED IN!!  Doesn’t that blow your mind?  You’ve walked on the streets where He has walked.  You’ve seen the tomb where He lay and prayed in the same garden where He prayed….and now….the ultimate.  You are going to have an option (totally up to you) to be baptized in the Jordan River!

Best known as the place where Jesus was baptized (Book of Matthew) as well as the place where John the Baptist is believed to have baptized those who came to repent of their sins, the Jordan River is perhaps Israel’s most sacred body of water.  And you, my friend…can be there.  After you are immersed in the waters you will receive a beautiful certificate to cherish for years to come.

From a sea that offers no life to a river that caused the heavens to open and a dove to descend…these are only two connections that will aid you in getting a glimpse into the life of Jesus.

Ya gotta go.  It’s just so very hard to explain.  Visit www.medskeens.com for all the details!!  I HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!
